user defined salary formula

this section will share how to setup and test openbravo payroll using user defined salary formula. this tutorial starting on creating salary master, employee master, generate salary payment, and finally calculate salary formula to demonstrate how user defined salary formula work.

create a salary template (a.k.a salary category):

based on screen shot above, we have 2 earnings, both of them are constant, and also 1 deduction.

set zakat deduction to formula. as we know, zakat is 2.5% from total income income .

next, we create a new employee

in our case, let say earning are constant but employee specific

generate employee to be paid. since employee just created are outsourced employee, then we will generate salary payment for outsource employee only.

open employee tab, select 1st employee just generated, calculate salary formula.

based on screen shot above, we see that earning calculated as employee specific constant, and zakat calculated based on formula.
